"If you compare yourself with others you may become vain and bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself"
( Max Ehrman) Sometime circumstances or incidents from the past can become a barrier to leading your best life. Together we can explore these barriers and create a new narrative for a beautiful accepting life. You were born for goodness. we all hit chug-holes in the road. You have the ability to bounce back. You are able to learn and implement resiliency skills. Your past does not define your present or future. You are worthy and able to live a life filled with joy despite the chaos. You have a lot to give to others and the ability to manifest a joyful life. Maybe the best is yet to come. You have the ability to have compassion for yourself and others. Sometimes life is so complicated that we feel blinded by the circumstances. With therapy, together, with baby steps you can begin to see things clearer and baby step into a better life. It will be my honor to walk by your side on this journey of rediscovering you.

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
It is a technique that is believed to rewire the brain to calmly accept the areas in which we are stuck. It helps diminish the overwhelming negative emotions associated with the event. Intellectually and emotionally there may be an incongruent gap. EMDR can bridge the gap, helping you feel what you know is true without the strong emotional charge.
EMDR can help with anxiety, events from childhood, feelings of guilt or failure, phobias, and trauma plus much more.
EMDR doesn't make you forget the trauma , but can help it feel like a distant memory without the emotional charge as though it is happening in the here and now.
Together we will determine if EMDR is right for you.

Are classes/coaching sessions the same as counseling?
No, these programs are educational and coaching in nature only.
You may take these classes while seeing a therapist, but these classes are not a replacement for therapy.
I highly recommend Leesa! She listens well, asks great questions, and offers pathway options to shift me closer to my goals. Leesa has a variety of tools at her disposal that help me work through an issue that I'm facing. I feel fortunate to have connected with her!
Leesa is amazing and SO compassionate and empathetic. I am so glad I got matched with her. She has been a TREMENDOUS help since the first day and I will forever be thankful for her. She has taught me many different forms of coping skills and introduced me to new books and motivational speakers.
